Hi,

When I first came to Europe as a soldier, one of the first places I heard about was Ibiza and the second was Majorca. The first thing I was told you go there to get drunk. I guess that is the reason that I didn't go. I don't like getting drunk. But many of my friends went and they had a ball. I was happy for them.
Since you have written your time their in a book I want to read it. I am quite sure it will confirm what my friends told me. Many of them went to Ibiza often while they were stationed in Germany.

Hi Fred, happy anniversary for your book - I have it on my Kindle and look forward to reading it. In 1969, us guys from Michigan used to sneak down to Toledo, OH on weekends as the drinking age was 18. We sure participated in a lot of shenanigans each weekend and came home on Sunday nights worn out. Looking forward to reading your book to see if I can relate to your exploits.
