2022 Creative Writing Showcase - Guidelines
CATEGORIES
1/. Memoir. 2/. Fiction.
SUBJECT
Your choice within the confines of the above categories.
WORD COUNT
Up to 5000 words.
TIME-FRAME
April 1st until September 30th, 2022.
COST
Free to enter.
SUBMISSIONS
Multiple contributions allowed. Stories will be featured on Fred’s Blog at the Editor’s discretion.
Please specify the category for each submission.
IMAGES
Photos, pictures, or sketches to illustrate the stories are encouraged but not a requirement.
AUTHOR BIO
Should be included with each submission along with a photo. Maximum number of words: 300. Promotional links are allowed but should be limited to three or less.
PRIOR PUBLICATION
Contributions should not have been published or accepted for publication elsewhere.
FUTURE PUBLICATION
Dependent upon the level of support, selected stories will be published in two separate
anthologies (one for each category) at the end of the year. Permission to include these will be
confirmed prior to publication. Copyright remains with the author.
