​2019 AUTHORS SHOWCASE – GUIDELINES

SUBJECT:  Memorable Life Experiences.

WORD COUNT:  800 – 2000 words.

SUBMISSION TIME:  April 1st until September 30th 2019.

GENRE:  Non-Fiction - Memoir (including Travel).

NUMBER OF SUBMISSIONS:  Restricted to one contribution per calendar month for each author (maximum of six).

IMAGES:  Photos, pictures or sketches to illustrate the story are encouraged but not a requirement.

AUTHOR BIO:  This should be included with each submission along with a photo. Maximum number of words: 300. Promotional links are allowed but should be limited to three or less.

PREVIOUS PUBLICATION:  Contributions should not have been published or accepted for publication elsewhere. The only exceptions are re-worked versions of previous entries to competitions on this blog.

FUTURE PUBLICATION:  If there is enough support, selected stories will be published in an anthology at the end of the year. Permission to include these will be confirmed prior to publication. Copyright remains with the author.
