| Robyn Boswell I worked in education for over 40 years. The first 21 years I was a classroom teacher. For 17 of those years I taught in a school that was considered to be the toughest in our city. It was hard work but there were plenty of rewards along the way once you got the respect of the kids. |  |
The second half of my career I was an adviser in schools, providing professional development to teachers and principals. I worked in schools ranging from very remote sole teacher schools in the Far North New Zealand, where I am lucky to live, through to some of the biggest primary schools in Auckland, our biggest city. I count myself fortunate to have had such a stimulating career.
