Then I am sure you will enjoy Graham's latest contribution Plunging waterline as much as I have.
I live in an outlying Pennine village and share this blustery environment with a growing collection of books, my understanding wife and 2 workshops, one of them piled high with offcuts of oak. Our two grown-up children are among my best friends.
I managed to sneak a course about playwriting into my BSc technology degree, and I also hold an MA in Professional Writing. Having written professionally for over 40 years (I began when very young), Oak Seer: A Supernatural Mystery was the first of my published novels, followed by Flither Lass, a historical novel set during the First World War. My fictionalized memoirs How Much for a Little Screw? and All Mod Cons are based on many years working in the hardware trade.
My hobbies include swimming, reading, watching and analysing lots of screen drama, republishing the novels of Leo Walmsley, and waiting for the mid-life crisis, but there's no sign of it yet.
