Fred is still feeling under the weather and has to go back to bed after breakfast. Rita and Sharon are feeling a lot better and go off cycling around the lake for the early afternoon. For the rest of the afternoon the three of them spend time with an English guy, coincidentally called Guy. After an evening out Rita reaches a decision which shocks Fred.
"We then all sat outside for a while and as my hair was still wet, Rita had a go at trimming it for me. This caused a lot of amusement for the local kids who always seem to be scattered around somewhere nearby."
