Fred is still feeling pretty rough but a lot better than yesterday. He continues to take his prescribed medications and spends most of the day dozing, reading and chatting to some of his fellow-travellers staying at the hostel.
"Dave had been a prison officer in Australia and was therefore very interested in my reactions to the time I spent in Thai prison. I had related a short version of events to the other three earlier on. It’s certainly an experience which interests other people."
