Author and editor of award winning books for children and adults, Susan Joyce was born in Los Angeles, and spent most of her childhood in Tucson, Arizona. A traveller, she spent more than half of her adult life living abroad.

She and her husband share their home in a sleepy, little beach town in Uruguay with two dogs and a cat. Oscar, the cat, is the boss.
